JIZZ视频 hosted the Ground Zero 360聽Remembrance Exhibition to commemorate the 21st聽anniversary of the 9/11 terror attacks.

The collaborative exhibit of global artists from 12 countries聽opened to the general public from 11 a.m. 鈥 4 p.m. on Saturday,聽Sept. 10, 2022, in the Contemporary Gallery of the University聽Academic Center on the HCU campus, 7502 Fondren Road,聽Houston, Texas 77074.

HCU President Robert Sloan offered words of comfort at a聽9/11 Worship Service in Belin Chapel in the Morris Cultural聽Arts Center. During the service, a moment of silence was聽held in recognition of the collapse of the Twin Towers. A 9/11聽Memorial Ceremony took place outside of the Morris Family聽Center for Law and Liberty led by Master of Ceremonies Len聽Cannon of KHOU-11. Family members of victims dedicated a聽tree on the HCU campus in commemoration of all 9/11 victims.

The Ground Zero 360 Remembrance Exhibition opened for聽viewing after the ceremony.聽Visitors viewed harrowing visuals, heartbreaking 鈥渕issing聽person posters鈥 and a panoramic installation that gives insight聽into what eight million New Yorkers felt in the days following聽the 9/11 attacks. Visitors also had the opportunity to hear聽emergency radio calls from that morning and see a fragment of聽twisted steel and broken granite from the World Trade Center.

The curated art and history exhibition also displayed crosses聽and a menorah cut from steel from the World Trade Center聽by ironworkers, a flag that flew over Ground Zero, a 鈥淪urvivor聽Tree鈥 cast in bronze with steel from the World Trade Center聽along with personal artifacts lent by families of police officers聽and firefighters who lost their lives in the attacks.
